My name is Maksims Ivanovs. I've spent over a decade working in web development, with a strong foundation in Magento. I became a certified Magento 1 developer early on and later transitioned to Magento 2, building scalable, stable e-commerce platforms for businesses of all sizes.
After several years specializing in Magento, I began expanding into the broader JavaScript ecosystem. These days, I work with technologies like Vue.js, TypeScript, Nuxt, and Strapi. I'm always learning ‐ quickly ‐ and I care about putting new tools to use in real, practical ways.
I've worked as a full‐stack developer across frontend, backend, and infrastructure. As a lead developer, I've mentored team members, worked closely with stakeholders to translate business goals into clear technical direction, and made architectural decisions to keep projects moving forward.
I adapt to different environments easily, whether that means jumping into a team, leading one, or working independently. I value honest feedback, clear communication, and delivering work that makes sense for the people who use it.
I started out at Scandiweb, where I built and maintained Magento-based e-commerce platforms from both front and back. I worked on real projects early on, contributed to testing and code quality, and kept learning every step of the way. I also pitched in with mentoring when newer devs joined the team.
At iConcept, I took the lead on Magento projects ‐ from performance optimization to accessibility and SEO. I mentored developers, gave technical direction, and worked directly with clients to align business goals with clean, scalable solutions.
As a Senior Web Developer at Magebit, I handled full lifecycle Magento work ‐ architecture, code reviews, optimization, security, and long-term maintenance. I focused on keeping things fast, clean, and stable.
