My Work

Mark Auto

Business Website, 2024

Mark Auto was my first client project back in 2018 — just a basic informational site for a small business with a contact form. Built with WordPress and Elementor, it did its job for years. In 2024, I gave it a full overhaul: modern tech stack, better performance, and a design refresh while keeping its simplicity.

Scope & Challenges

Things That Made Me Sweat

But I still managed to deal with them...

This one wasn’t about new features — it was about maintaining what worked and improving everything else.

  • Initial Build (2018): WordPress + Elementor made sense at the time — low barrier, low cost, and just enough for a business card-style site.
  • On-and-off Maintenance: Every few months or years, I’d step in to fix hosting, domains, or other random issues. Kept it alive and working.
  • 2024 Redesign: Outdated tech and a dated design made it clear the site needed more than just a patch. I rebuilt everything using Nuxt 3 and Nuxt Content, with better performance, modern looks, and tighter security.
Key Achievements

What Was Needed Was Done

No fluff, just real results.
  • Modern Stack, Lightweight Build: Replaced WordPress with a static Nuxt setup. Better performance, no backend headaches, and fewer security risks.
  • Security & Infrastructure Upgrade: Deployed on a clean server with updated OS, added Cloudflare, and tightened things up across the board.
  • Mobile-First Redesign: The site looks and feels better across devices — still simple, but far more polished.
  • Long-Term Project Ownership: From the first domain registration to the 2024 redesign, I’ve been the one keeping this site running.
Conclusion

In Case You Skipped Ahead

For those who were too lazy to read what was above.

This project shows what long-term support can look like — adapting to tech changes, improving when it makes sense, and always keeping the client’s needs at the center. Mark Auto is still just a simple site, but now it’s faster, more secure, and ready for the next few years — no more WordPress plugin roulette.

Testimonial

Pending... Forever

They ghosted the praise part. Happens.

No testimonial doesn't mean something went wrong. It just means they didn't leave one. If it had gone badly, I'd say so. I don't beg for praise. I just do the job.
